The celebration of a virtue

Image
Millenials have a lot to say about virtually everything, they are theoretically sound in all spheres and could state virtually the end from the beginning alas the immediate response is too fictitious to be real. The concept of marriage today and the spate of divorce can only ascribe to the impatience eschewed by these millenials , little wonders the generation before still tend to stick together and jointly weather the storm and trial of marriage. Exactly 7/02/2018 mark the 20th wedding anniversary of Rev. and Mrs Ayangbile of Aperin Baptist Church Ibadan. Seeing the radiant couple and the children God blessed the family with, one is tempted to say this is just perfect but the truth is the delayed gratification concept is still far enshrined in the aged than the millennials. Lessons can be learnt from such outstanding examples in our community and help to hold the cord of marriages firm. Congratulations sire

Avoid alcoholic and caffeinated drinks during this period. 4. Reduce intake of foods that are rich in pro...

zika virus, still a social problem

Dr Vanessa van der Linden, a Recife neuro-paediatrician, was the first doctor to spot the outbreak of micro cephaly in 2015. Having seen the calcifications it caused in brain scans, she anticipated children would be born with problems like visual impairment and epilepsy – which she found in 60-70% of patients in the first year. The seizures cause children like Graziella to forget things like swallowing. Hydrocephalus – the build-up of liquid on the brain – was a surprise. Most children diagnosed at the peak of the crisis are now two; many have never spoken a word nor taken a step. More than half have no interaction between their eyes and their brain, Van der Linden says. As rightly predicted by Dr Vanessa van der Linden, most children with microcephaly ain't living but existing, deprived of the joy of living. one of such example is Alice Bezerra, who was born in October 2015 with microcephaly, she had a feeding tube inserted into her stomach after struggling to gain weight. Her par...

"QUIT NOTICE TO BUHARI" BABANGIDA CLAIMS NAIVETY

In a dramatic turn of event,  former Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, allegedly disowned a statement in which his aide Kassim Afegbua quoted him as asking President Muhammadu Buhari to drop his re-election bid over some negative realities in the polity.  In the alleged statement of denial, Babangida said: "My attention has been drawn to a press statement on the state of the nation, particularly 2019 general elections and beyond. "Let me categorically state that as a former president and statesman, I have unfettered channel of communication with the highest authorities without sensational public correspondence. Therefore, those views expressed over there are personal views of the writer. "However, with due respect to individual opinion and constitutional rights, it is worrisome that political events and civil unrest in many parts of the country have raised many questions on the governance and unity. Indeed, 2018 is inundated with seasons of literatures on ...
