A statement on OYSIEC website indicates that Oyo state is currently recruiting electoral officers and adhoc staff for the forth coming local government and local council development areas. The statement read thus "Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) is suitably inviting applications from qualified candidates for the post of Electoral Officers in impact of the forthcoming Local Government Council Election into the thirty-three (33) Local Government Councils and thirty-five (35) Local Council Development Arreas."

Applicants must be:
1. an indegene of Oyo State
2. a non-card carrying member of a political party.
3. at least a university graduaute on its equivalent
4. a serving Public/Civil Servant on GL. 10 and above.
